Modular Base Building Set

This is a set of modular base building pieces that our players will use to construct their bases in Just Survive. The initial set was wood and this is the upgraded metal set. The style is post apocalyptic so it was to be composed of found metal and very roughly assembled.

This was fun to do since I was able to work on every part of it from concept to completion.

The wireframe of the modular pieces looks very dense since our engine takes a single mesh with many possible variations and then randomizes which one is shown by us defining the individual looks with vertex colors. One set of polygons with red vertex color, another with blue, green, and alpha and then one of those is chosen to be shown in-game.

All the additional masks and overlays were made in Substance Designer.
